Cymel 1161 resin is a highly monomeric- methylated/ iso-butylated melamine crosslinker with a high degree of alkylation. Its high monomer content allows for the formulation of high solids coatings with excellent appearance- recoat adhesion- and flexibility. It is especially recommended for automotive topcoats- general metal finishes- and coil coatings.
